Railway line will be out of action for probably a month or two after storm damage.

Is it worth mapping this damage?

The Bridleway starts about here on Castlehaven Lane - at the little cross roads (also not really shown, but about where the pin is) - not further down at the sharp bend, as shown. The Bridleway also stops at the bottom, where the other footpath leaves it - and becomes another footpath going on to the sea (along the route you have)
It's not a byway, but a bridleway and this can be seen on the signs at the top of the lane and on Bing Maps.
Thanks

Hampshire ROW claims there is a footpath from the corner of the small road to the west to the bend on the B3006.
However from my investigation into a couple of days ago, there is *no* evidence on the ground for it.
From drive by on the B3006 there is just an open field entrance no signs.
On the lane there are no signs and no obvious access into the field as there's a large bank to get up to it. There was one small possible way up after the ditch beside the lane. The field itself then has a large ditch in the way too.
Overall the footpath doesn't seem to serve much purpose anyway as no one would want to walk along the B3006 to the other footpaths which are some distance away.
