Welcome to OSM. Is this the official name for the baseball field? The name tag is only for official names. If you don't know the official name for this field, then please leave the 'name' tag blank, as the other two tags you added are enough for it.

Welcome to OSM. Is this the official name for that tunnel? The name tag is only for official names. If this tunnel doesn't have a name, then that tag should be left blank.

I know this is a really old changeset, but I just wanted you to know that this changeset is being reverted. This is not part of US-421 anymore (not since 2009). It was moved onto I-85 and I-73 to bypass downtown to then connect with I-40. This has been reverted in changeset/39289101. - changeset/39289101

Is it possible that you could try to keep these types of changesets limited to one continent or even smaller areas? It makes it sometimes impossible for local mappers to double check if your changes are correct since the OSM RSS feeds give any changeset that has a bounding box that enters a smaller area that a user may be watching, even if there aren't any changes done inside said small area. Would make it easier for me to double check my local area when changes are truly done here in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA area. Thanks again! :)

This changeset has been reverted in changeset/39095163 ( changeset/39095163 ) to restore the node back into the proper position in the administrative boundary where it was before.

Please make smaller changesets. When changesets span accross the ocean, the bounding box it creates makes it hard to keep track of local changes in my area with my RSS feed of changesets, even if nothing was changed in my local area. If you need to do big changesets like this, please limit them to either state wide, or just country wide. Not world wide. Thanks.

The data you've entered in this changeset isn't fully correct. This ramp isn't for 'US-30'. It's "TO US-30" as Clinton Road isn't part of that highway. I have personal pictures that clearly show the "TO" text beside the shield, as well as the Wikipedia entry does have the "TO" text for this interchange. Thus, the proper tag for that info is "destination:ref:to" (see: osm.wiki/Proposed_features/Destination_details#destination:ref:to ), and not "destination:ref".

Changeset has been reverted in 'Changeset 39065611' (changeset/39065611), as this node was taken from a USA road and moved all the way to France creating a false road link over the Atlantic Ocean.

The PA-65 upgrades have been reverted in changeset/38096154. changeset/38096154

I'm curious, but did you ever read my comments on your changeset/31792476 (changeset/31792476) about randomly upgrading highways to motorway? You once again upgraded the same segments of PA-65 that aren't, and can't be 'motorway', but are 'trunk' instead. Some have sidewalks, and all of them allow bicycles. I'm reverting (once again) all of the 'upgrades' on PA-65 that you did here. Please, I would recommend you completely read my comments on the changeset of yours I linked above before you even attempt to upgrade any part of PA-65 again. You're doing damage to routing data because of this. I would greatly appreciate a response this time from you on this subject. I want to work with other users in making OSM great, but don't appreciate my comments being completely ignored, especially when I try to contact users first before I attempt reverting stuff unless it's really bad. Only reason I'm reverting and not waiting for any comment here is because this was the 2nd time you did the same upgrades.

What is "way too big"? Maybe make smaller changesets instead?

I'm curious as to why you reconfigured I-70 & US-30 in Breezewood, PA in this changeset? When you did that, you introduced several problems in that area, and it no longer properly represents what is there (I've personally been through that area in the last 4 months). We don't split highways into separate ways unless there's a physical divider there, and there are no such dividers there where you did it. I'm currently working on fixing this, but I'd still like to know why you did so future problems can be possibly avoided. BTW, adding comments on your changesets might be a wise idea so others know what you're attempting to do in your changes, and would help prevent future problems.

Hello, and welcome to OSM. I assume here you were trying to tag an intersection that is controlled by a 'STOP' sign? If so, here's some info on how it's tagged: highway=stop If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask. :)

32486592 almost 10 years ago

I assume so. I haven't been able to go out there to check. And sorry for the late response. I've been having major computer problems the last 2+ months.

Also, if you want another opinion on an interchange, don't hesitate to ask me. I'd be more than happy to talk a quick look and give an opinion. :)

I've tweaked that section on that Wiki page some. Hopefully, it's now a little clearer on this subject. :) osm.wiki/w/index.php?title=Interstate_Highways&diff=1250540&oldid=1250539
