I tried to create MPs by adding an area, assigning it with role inner, and assigned role outer to the building. Apparently that's not the way to do it. Please feel free to repair my work. That these buildings have inner courtyards is info from cadastre

I made them using iD, which is not that easy and I don't have much experience with them. I removed the area=yes tags, but don't understand what has "gone south"...

OSM is used worldwide so should be multilingual for texts that show on the map (names, for instance) but for database values, English is used (so something tagged with colour=blue will show on the map in blue).
If the hydrant has no name or number, then don't add anything. Many shops in Bulgaria have no name ("Плод и зеленчук" is not a name but a description of what they're selling) so in that case, add no name (but you could add name:signed=no).

> I never saw those old tags in StreetComplete.

It doesn't show them, to keep it simple for inexperienced users. It correctly removed other tags you can't see (branch, opening hours, phone, website) so I'm surprised it didn't remove wikipedia and wikidata tags.

> I had to tap the "plus" icon to add the new web address.

The plus icon is only to add names in other languages. The "International" (int_name) tag is used in Bulgaria to add the name transliterated to Latin script (i.e. it is still Bulgarian language but Latin script according to the official transliteration law)

Hi, thanks for editing this place! I see you used StreetComplete for the edit? I'm surprised that it made the edit in 2 steps (version 4 and 5) and that it did not remove the linkswikipedia and wikidata tags of the old school (I corrected it, see changeset/168149799 ). Can you please explain what you did, and how you added the website of the new school? Then I can report it to StreetComplete developers as a bug.

What happened? It's still a bank, but not UBB any more?

Welcome to OpenStreetMap! And thanks for adding the fire hydrants! However please note that OpenStreetMap is a worldwide database of geographic information, so values like colours should be in English to be understandable by a computer. See colour=* I changed your addition of colour=Син to colour=blue And ref=* is used to add some reference code, like the number on the fire hydrant that the fire brigade uses to refer to it. Are you sure that ref=Никола Вапцаров 8 is correct? It looks more like an address.

This hotel was already mapped, and you added it again at the wrong location. I deleted it and added the website to the other location node

I think that's implied by barrier=planter (see wiki), but it doesn't hurt to add it (which I did)

Yes, I must have clicked next to the value I wanted to select. Corrected

Please make sure that when you add a phone number, you use the international format ( with +359 in front for Bulgaria).

I think that for routing purposes, it is quite useful to map a crossing there, as many people using the tram cross there. It is correctly mapped as unmarked.

I deleted the address of this place and of The Fat Cat because they are in Latin script and there is no street or city with that name nearby so I guess you made them up? I also added +359 to the phone numbers.
Please check my edits to your contributions and learn from them so I don't have to continue correcting your mistakes!

It looks like this restaurant replaces Esterhasi restaurant (on the corner with ul. Krakra)? Then please edit that node, and do not create a new one.
You should also not add a description that is advertising the place (this is spam and not allowed). If the building it is inside has an address, it is not necessary to add the address to the node too. I removed description and address.

Hi Plamen, welcome back to OSM! It's great you are making edits in a part of Sofia where we don't have many mappers.
However when editing objects that have changed, please consider to add a lifecycle prefix instead of deleting them. These football fields, for instance, are still visible on aerial images, so if you completey deleted them, someone else may see them on images and add them again, not knowing that they can't be used any more. It's then better to add disused: or abandoned: to them. If they get repaired, it's also easier to just remove the prefix than to draw them again. Same for shops that are empty, buildings that have been demolished, etc. See osm.wiki/Lifecycle_prefix

Maybe better to remove it (or add disused:)? We don't want people looking for the ministry to go to that address...

166681970 7 months ago

Maybe we should specify that the node "Министрество на финансите" is not THE ministry, but a small department of it?

The pavilions are completely gone, you can only see on the pavement where they have once been. I guess the operators found better jobs!
