Thank you for your good work on the houses around here - but I notice you have copied the houses from changeset/102891064 to this block without checking them, please take care to avoid mistakes like this

Whoops, thanks for noticing, I'll fix that. The poles do not extend into space haha

Hi, thanks for your edits. Did you mean to put a park in the valley here?

Hi, thanks for your edits, just wondering why you removed the "natural=bare_rock" tag from Uluru?

Amazing work in Oberon and Mudgee. Apologies for the late notice but I'll be speaking briefly on Radio Blue Mountains 89.1 FM about the mapping effort tomorrow around 2:30pm. Let me know if you would like me to say anything on your behalf.

Hi, thanks for checking up on this. I did this on purpose because the pole structure is a bi-pole (ie. there are two wooden poles each supporting one or two power line phases). The Power Line way is connected to the power pole with the most phases connected to it, leaving the other pole not connected to the way. One workaround to this is to make a separate power line way for the single phase - for example the power lines in the vicinity of osm.org/#map=18/-33.71232/150.39261 - but I feel like that complicates things unnecessarily and requires the ways to be added to a power route relation. Otherwise, I could replace both poles with a single power=tower node placed in the middle.

Hi, might I suggest you add the type of lamp in the tag light:method=* as the dataset you are using has this information and it is useful for various reasons. I expect common values for this tag will be high_pressure_sodium, LED, mercury, fluorescent. Let me know if you need help interpreting the data. If you are planning on making a wiki article for this import let me know so I can contribute. Cheers

Hello there, thanks for your efforts here. I've noticed that the Christchurch city boundary has unclosed segments on the west side, and it seems that the Christchurch District boundary is somewhat on top of the city boundary. We have been discussing improving these boundaries on the OpenStreetMap World discord server and would appreciate your help, so if you would like to contribute please let me know.

Hi, thanks for the clarification, I was tagging the area:highway based on area:highway=*

105387959 over 4 years ago

More details: changeset was https://osmcha.org/changesets/105386680/
The changeset misaligned landuse=residential away from DCS NSW Base map geometry to avoid crossing building way. My fix reverted to the old alignment and improved the alignment of the buildings.

Hi, can you explain further and link your changeset with the deletion? Thanks

Whoops, accidentally uploaded wrong description. Supposed to be sewerage infrastructure in North katoomba

101654207 over 4 years ago

Ah, yes it appears that iD cannot handle order when splitting osm.wiki/Relation:route#Order_matters
I'll keep that in mind

101654207 over 4 years ago

Thanks for the clarification and fix, I didn't realise that ways were ordered in a relation. I suppose this is information that iD withholds but JOSM does not? The GWH ways were split to add a school zone conditional speed limit and the railway way was split to add cutting=yes

101654207 over 4 years ago

Can you elaborate on what the problem with the relations was? I split some ways on the relations mentioned (to add tags) but that's it. No idea what I did wrong and can't figure it out from osmose or your latest changeset descriptions
