There are posts across this inner corner in Pearce Mitchell Place, to stop motor vehicles at the corner. Although pedestrians and bicycles can pass between the posts. See Google Streetview for confirmation.

The "Pierce Mitchell Houses" should be renamed to the "Pearce Mitchell Houses". They are located at Pearce Mitchell Place.

The "Stanford School" was demolished by the early 1970's, and the Pearce Mitchell Houses were constructed on the former site of the Stanford School.
