Hallo,
bitte noch mal im Editor öffnen und dann maxar als Hintergrund aktivieren.

way/816393481#map=18/-20.22431/28.58591

Ralf

Hello,
May I ask you who or what brought you here?
#2240 is only about buildings. The road you added has a bridge tag. This is certainly not correct. I also would also disagree with the water polygons. It's always better to leave things away when you're unsure than to add wrong things. Please consider to use Maxar instead of bing, because it is more recent most of the time.

"fix street due to bad satellite images in this area"
Why don't you just use the more recent maxar imagerie?

Hello SAHALSIRAH,
Are you trying to validate this task?
Have you been asked to do so?

Hello,
It is only a rough outline drawn after a cc0 Wikipedia image. Most borders in OSM have no official accuracy, but they are still needed for navigation and geolocation. However, if someone with local knowledge is able to improve the geometry, please continue. If the border relations of both districts remain broken, someone will sooner or later restore the deleted ways.

Hello,
please try this:
Download the section again, switch on the bing background, then switch on the maxar premium background as well. Switch the maxar layer (must lay above bing) on and off by clicking on its eye icon in the layer box . Now you should get an idea of the real shape of the higher buildings, because you see them from different angles. In the Bing layer, which is probably the same as the standard Tasking Manager layer, some missing buildings are hidden behind the large blocks. I would assume that the "Little Bagiuo Terraces" were drawn correctly before #8386.

Once again, it wasn't your fault. And good to hear that you prefer OSM over google.
I am also only an armchair mapper here, like sadly most contributors in Africa.
And actually it was ckramer-hl who knows this area from the 1990s :).
Thats why it is so important, that people like you bring in their up to date local knowledge.

Danke für die Rückmeldung
Ich habe die Fehlermeldung mal geschlossen.
@charles Frank I think you have done nothing wrong here. Only this node node/5545279971/history was added to the boundary-way by you. However I see that you are mainly involved in HOT projects. When I scroll back your edits, I miss additions that might affect you personally. Additions like bars or shops you like, missing street and place names that you know. Maybe one of your family members owns a missing business? Do you and your friends use Google for personal navigation instead of Osm and why? Don't forget that this is your map. It doesn't belong to some obscure charity!

Schau bitte mal nach ob das so in Ordnung ist. Ich habe die Fehlermeldung kommentiert aber noch nicht geschlossen.

Hello,
in this changeset, you screwed up several building footprints. Please note that most satellite images are not taken exactly verticall from above. You have to switch between the different background layers to understand the real shape of tall buildings and to find eventually hidden structures. I also see that you are acting as a validator in this project. May I ask you how this is possible with a changesets_count of 9

FB Maxar data + imagery are out of date!
Please also inform your team

@FranS
FB-AI is a bad joke. It's based on outdated imagery. Combined with inexperienced HOT volunteers, the result is absolutely disastrous. Google and Here also inhered AI-based junk in their maps. Since they can easily replace this data when new imagery or better algorithms are available, we don't have such concepts. Fixing and maintaining this garbage will be a hard and fruitless job.
Good luck

Bing arial shows even a kind of gate close to Woodhall Road

Hi Belletower,
please keep on mapping, but keep also in mind that the road network is far from finished in these areas.

83575552 over 5 years ago

Hi,
why do all apple roads look like a hook? Are you paid by nodes and bends?
In this case (and many others):
way/792044770
The road is pretty short, and only accessing one property. So when you think it needs to be on the map, i would tag it highway=service + service=driveway

83587472 over 5 years ago

I would prefer to tag highway=construction + construction=residential. So you can find and update this roads when new imagery is available. Once finished, these roads will be aligned to the already constructed buildings and not such curvy. You should therefore reduce the nodes (accuracy) This would make a future editing much easier.

Hi Palolo,
imo Facebook data can be quite outdated. Please compare the area around here node/7346794270 with the more recent Maxar imagery
