This jolly inland spot, with ample seating indoors, or out on a terrace, does two or three casserole dishes per day, but to order those would be to completely miss the point. Ta Gefyria is Lamb Chop Central for Hydra, succulent cuts from free-range flocks on neighbouring Póros. In springtime you can opt for fresh (not canned) beets complete with their greens; bread comes standard as bruschetta, pud will likely be on the house. House rosé wine will be sweet for most tastes; their bulk red is better, and not at all tannic.
