There is a series of paved, wheelchair‐accessible trails between the upper ramada and the firepit.

The DOT has replaced this interchange with a diverging diamond plus a multi-use path.

There are two nodes, Kidder Astronomic Station and Kidder Astronomical Station, imported from National Geoditic Survey and GNIS respectively. The points are quite a distance from each other, but in the same general area. At both points, there is clearly some structure visible in the satellite imagery. This needs ground surveying.
