I would be happy to meet with OSM mappers visiting Härnösand! PM me.
I collect tracks using OSMTracker on a Samsung galaxy S5 plus. I upload features like shelters, picnic_tables and opening hours via OsmAnd.
Coordinates for any nodes I create with amenity=shelter are all released as CC0 (facilitates later synchronization to Wikidata)
Tools I made
- https://pangose.github.io/gpx-extractor/ - Extract Point of Interest (POI) from OSM.
- https://pangose.github.io/sheltermap/ - The best map to view shelters in your area of interest. Note the hiking trails neatly embedded on the background map.
