Not a one single multipolygon but they're like 1000 sq. mi multipolygons in size at points. I started to clean it up back in 2023 - but I also wanted to finish up West Virginia which I did last week.

Hey! Thanks for helping me out in mapping the State of Pennsylvania!
Make sure you joined either OSM World Discord or OSMUS Slack's #forest-mapping channel!
I'm keeping everyone posted about my challenges.

I started mapping Beaver County but I realized someone recently broke a massive forest polygon in the "big Central PA blob", so I'm in the process of remapping that area.

Keep it up! :) Once I have the time i'm gonna check all the rectangles and fill up with missing landcover, if needed.

it'll be part of my forest landcover mapping thing. Probably best solution would be to totally destroy that so it won't be broken a thousand million times.

You broke relation #1232849 :D never mind, i'll be redrawing that entirely sooner or later.

Yey, thanks! Yep, I anticipate I'm gonna finish early February.

Thanks for the help however i'd like to note that please split the forest areas if they're around at least a tertiary road because I don't want to deal with huge multipolygons :))
I'm currently splitting up

Yay PA is getting woods and it looks really high quality actually even if it was done in iD editor :)

Hey, it looks nice but as soon as I finish up mapping West Virginia, I'm gonna rework the forest land cover you drew because I checked from imagery and these don't align up as good as it should be ;)

As I can see for example you don't create inner cuts. Definitely working with JOSM would be a lot better for you, although it has a learning curve.

You shouldn't work for the renderer. There's a specific reason why there's the boundary=nature_reserve
osm.wiki/United_States/Public_lands#U.S._Forest_Service

I'll revert this.
