Okay, where i can see leaf-on Maxar imagery, that means it's recent, but for example in Rock Creek it's like 10 years old. (leaf-off imagery)

Also for inaccurity, I used fastdraw in JOSM to draw the areas, because I hate when I have to "click click click" a dozen, it's enough to say that I did Marshall County WV with this method and it's aint good :D My other project is Coshocton County Ohio, but that's pretty much well done where I mapped. I'll look through the mines and align them where I can. NAIP is the most recent imagery by the way around the Marsh Fork area, that's why I trace from that.

It was traced from NAIP, but i haven't finished it yet, I'm going to update it. I use fastdraw and I was noticed that it's kindof a bit inaccurate, but I'll expand it just because of the massive size of the forest it's not easy to draw it, and also i want to add the landuses as well in the area, I plan going upwards Eskdale then go down to Beckley. I'm working on this with RoccoAWD who maps the buildings, me the forests. I'm aware of it, don't worry. just the amount of the coal mines are a lot.
Also, for a changeset i'm not planning to go beyond 2-3 or 4k changes. :)

Az előző állapot a FÖMI ortofotó 2007-2010-es légifelvételen látszik, de az már régi :)

For some of the creeks I used Stamen Terrain for drawing the path for them

/road classification/

For roads I used the existing OSM data but also I used TIGER Roads 2019 (just forgot to source it)

Note that i had to shift Maxar for a bit(like 4 meters to match the GPS tracks a bit there) for mapping US 250, but otherwise i used unshifted imagery.

I also aligned Grave Creek, that's why the changeset is a bit big in the county.

*the area = Marshall County and basically area around that!

93947382 about 5 years ago

Woah, that's cool that not only i'm the one who is remapping the area. Well done! Also I see that you realigned the roads which is a crucial thing because of the early TIGER imports, it's a tedious job i know but still it's much better when we see the roads aligned. :)

ó igen, ezt elfelejtettem odaírni :) de ahhoz meg én lusta vagyok mindenhol feltüntetni, mert az millió meló lenne, az lenne a szívás mikor vége covidnak és le kéne szedni minden egyes üzletről

93908490 about 5 years ago

Note: Viktor Orbán's latest announcement about coronavirus says everything must close at 7 PM and everyone shouldn't go outside after 8 PM. (so the pub has to close in time even if 10 PM is mentioned on the door)

Wait... XD I used Maxar for mapping forests and i used National Agricultural Program too, but not Esri, just i forgot to turn that layer off. but yeah, i used TIGER for checking roads too. It's 11PM for me when i put this changeset.

And aligned Vízakna utca

93505497 about 5 years ago

And also did some road alignments. (AKA tiger cleanup)

93260103 about 5 years ago

Just taking into consideration, I drew up lot of roads here and the forests that you see on the map was drawn by me. I first used Esri, but I've been told that's old, even if it's very clear. I suggest you to use Esri as just a reference but not as an actual imagery. Maxar and NAIP/USGS imagery are the references here, and maybe OSIP if you can get access to it. OSIP is the Ohio Statewide Imagery Program which maps the entire Ohio but some parts of the imagery covers the western border of WV.

Hello, just I want you to take notice about Esri World Imagery (Clarity) Beta's age, it's around at least 9-10 years old ore more, there are many proofs. Some power plants around Moundsville have been demolished a few years ago, news have written some stuff about it, and also Wikipedia has an article about the R. E. Burger Power Plant.

Please don't delete stuff that has only not existed on one aerial imagery.
I use Maxar aerial imagery because that's around 3-4 years old of age, and also you can check stuff with the Natural Agricultural Imagery Program's imagery.

Thank you very much that you read this.
You can add stuff, just don't remove, check multiple imageries like Bing or Maxar or Mapbox or USGS or NAIP before doing anything. I have to draw back some of the roads you deleted because they exist.
Also, i had been told that the NAIP imagery is usually not older than 3 years.

Esri, Maxar, FÖMI stb azok mind légi/ortofotók, ezt tudom :D

93253220 about 5 years ago

műhold = Esri, ne kössetek bele, hozzávagyok szokva a műholdképhez a légifotó helyett! :)
