| 63629738 | about 7 years ago | Welcome, and thanks for joining and editing OSM! Your most recent edit looks great, but I did notice the street name you put on the building is "Goethe Place" instead of "Goethe Street". Can you confirm which one is accurate? If the street name is wrong, we can edit that! Thanks for your contribution to the map! You can also see more about editing by visiting learnosm.org. Thanks, and happy mapping! |

| 63429709 | about 7 years ago | Welcome to OSM! You had marked you wanted someone to review your edit, and I thought I'd take the time to take a look at it. There's a couple issues with your edit. First, you seem to have added this information as a place of worship, and not a florist/flower shop, and so the main type of business is not correct. Secondly, you placed the pointer for the business in the middle of a roadway, and not on top of 127 Poplar Street. In OSM, we follow an "On The Ground" rule - entries into OSM must exist verifiably in the real world. When placing business points, you must put the where the business is located, and you can't place them in the middle of the street. I have corrected both problems for you. Please take note of the editing guidelines and new editor guides at osm.wiki/Contribute_map_data and osm.wiki/How_We_Map Thanks for your contribution to the map! | 61149289 | about 7 years ago | Welcome to OSM! You had marked you wanted someone to review your edit, and I thought I'd take the time to comment on your edit. I'm looking at Talbot and Bernard. Is your question how to map an intersection with multiple entrances and traffic lights separated like that? This intersection actually appears to be mapped very well! The only thing I'd check is you might have a no left turn restriction from Bernard going north onto Talbot. If that's the case, you can click on the traffic light and on the left side see a turn restriction editor. Highlight each way traffic would be coming from to add rules for that intersection. All of the tags and features you added for your home look perfect. Thanks for your contribution to the map! You can also see more about editing by visiting learnosm.org. Thanks, and happy mapping! |
| 63493053 | about 7 years ago | Welcome to OSM! You had marked you wanted someone to review your edit, and I thought I'd take the time to comment on your edit. I am happy to report that your test edit did go through successfully, however leaving edits like this is considered cluttering and counterproductive to the community built dataset we have here. I'd recommend to you to test out the features of the editor by adding businesses or other local features that exist in real life, rather than a test message. It would be appreciated if you could please delete the test node from the map you created. If you're having trouble with this, I will delete it for you in a day. | 63494738 | about 7 years ago | Welcome to OSM! You had marked you wanted someone to review your edit, and I thought I'd take the time to comment on your edit. Very nice work editing the map with swapping these two nodes. Did you know that nodes can also contain complete business information? If you were so inclined, you could go back and enter in all kinds of things, like phone numbers, addresses, and even what kind of payment they take there. Thanks for your contribution to the map! Very good job recognizing the library wasn't here, and editing all those tags. You had still left the type=public tag in there, and you might consider going back later and removing that, else members of the general public could be awkwardly confused trying to walk into this persons house. :) Thanks for your contribution to the map! | 63658963 | about 7 years ago | Welcome to OSM! You had marked you wanted someone to review your edit, and I thought I'd take the time to say you did great! Don't forget, you can also add additional features about the gift shop, like what kinds of payment it takes, its phone number, address, or even its store hours. Just select the node for the shop again, and the iD editor will show all the options available to you on the left side. You can also see more about editing by visiting learnosm.org. | 60507755 | over 7 years ago | Hi there! Can you tell me, what are you attempting to map here? You tagged this simply an "area", but should probably be something more specific. How can I help you? way/606055432#map=16/42.3556/-71.0606 |
| 60472897 | over 7 years ago | Donovan, I took a look at your edit per review requested tag. It looks good, but my only suggestion would be to make the ends of the park align with the curbstone ends at the street, and not spread into the street intersection. You want to map according to what it really looks like, don't map to make the renderer look pretty. If you edit the top and bottom sections down to the edge of the curbstones, it gives a better indication of where the greenspace ends and the roadway begins. |
