Свято-Дмитрівська церква
Одна із найдавніших церков у регіоні.
26 березня 2022 року російські окупанти обстріляли старовинну будівлю Свято-Дмитрівської церкви. Внаслідок обстрілів було сильно пошкоджено фасади та покрівлю церкви, вибито вікна, постраждало внутрішє оздоблення храму.

Part of the Sviatohirsk Lavra. All the skete’s buildings are made of massive pine trunks. The All Saints Church, the main skete’s sanctuary, used to be the biggest wooden church in Ukraine.
The Sviatohirsk Lavra repeatedly suffered from Russian attacks during April and May 2022. In particular, the St. George Skete was destroyed by missile shelling. On June 1, a few shells hit the monks’ cells, killing four and injuring four others. Finally, Russian shelling ruined the All Saints Skete on June 4. The fire entirely destroyed the main church of the complex, the largest wooden temple in Ukraine.

In the early days of the full-scale Russian military attack on Ukraine, the city of Irpin became a shield for the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and experienced the horrors of war under the Russian occupation. The House of Culture was also hit. For almost 70 years, this place united the residents of Irpin. The Russian shelling damaged its facades, interiors, and ceilings.

Church of the Ascension of the Lord. A rare monument of Ukrainian wooden architecture built in 1879. During the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine in 2022, Russian occupation troops destroyed the priceless architectural and religious monument entirely, by four tank shots during their retreat from the Kyiv region.
