The city refers to thir network of lanes as Bikeways, a mix of Protected Bike Lanes, and Greenways for neaborhood streets. https://www.chicago.gov/city/en/sites/complete-streets-chicago/home/bike-program.html There is no separate named signage, but it is useful with routing to mark them separate and use the Bikeway term to differentiate them from the main street.

Mary Mix McDonald Woods, is also a named natural wood feature, it is part of the Forest Preserve District of Cook County which outlines the area as a separate feature as a nature preserve, and is managed as part of the FPDCC Botanic Gardens.

same with Blue Star Memorial Woods the woods, the preserve boundaries, and entrance are marked as separate features.

The Miami wood relation is for the forest area itself not the nature preserve. separate features.

your changes are using old imagery and old layout of ORD. there is construction going on at ORD and many of the taxiways and features have changed in the last few years. please refrain from making further edits based on old imagery and information.

the issue seems to be with the app you are using. the highway=path tag does not default add bicycle=yes, but if the app you are using makes them appear that way, you should contact the app creator.

I've already answered your question, I do not control the default setting for the editors apps. If a way is not accessible by bike, simply mark it so an move on, if that is what you are focused on. I'm not going to spot check every way marked for accessibility set by the default tags.

The tunnel does make it to the 5th street branch, but is blocked off from that point. the more western tunnel gets blocked off around 6th street.

Acces for military bases should be Permit not private as public vehicles have access to the roads if they stop at the gate and receive a permit first.

yes there is a rule that states that along with hiking on unmarked trails on the map, but that is what the paths are used for.

Ok, i updated to paths to better describe their use "footways, not marked as official "informal" foot paths by the FPDCC but people do use them to hike and bike.
