Hi
Looks like you have accidentally dragged a node in the top left of this link
https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=126769229
Are you able fix it?

Hi
does the bridge tag you added to the track need to be deleted?

126722760 over 3 years ago

Hi
Have you made any error here. History suggests that this in not a bridge for entire length.

We do map all roads that only have special access or are on private property, especially these types that are access by the public to use the ferry services.
You should be marking section of such roads use the access keys
access=*
Adding gates with access tags is also helpful.

Hi, are you intending to fix this area so that routing to the carparks and ferry is enabled?

Hi, when you add addr:suburb=Scarborough , etc to your building the search engines will place your site within the Scarborough boundary relation
relation/11677688#map=15/-27.2037/153.1097 with the node on the roundabout being where the Scarborough label is placed on maps, but this depends on the zoom and the rendering engine has some control of that at the various zoom levels. In osm this boundary relation knows it belongs to Qld in Australia.
When searching for “Scarborough" multiple site around the world are found but if you add a bit more and search for "Scarborough, Qld" you will narrow the results and your platform should perform like that too.
Once it is mapped in osm correctly, the rest depends on how well the site uses the database and how often updates are applied.
The best we can do is map things correctly and fully in a consistent agreed way in line with our wiki and then it’s up to the app and map providers to display and update the information in the way they prefer.
If you think it all looks correctly mapped and your site does not appear as expected you should contact the platform next, but they are often not very helpful and just tell you they use OSM.
If you feel that the way we are mapping osm is where the problem lies and you need further help from more experienced mappers you could make a query on the Talk.au mailing list or on the new OSM Community site https://community.openstreetmap.org/
Someone may be familiar with the house sitting platform you use.

I'd suggest it bis because one of the rings touches the outside member of the relation, which is not permitted in osm relations. ...but, I haven't looked closely.

Hi
osmi picks up some problems here
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=153.01592&lat=-27.45149&zoom=19

Regarding the house sitting platform listing, you should ensure the building is mapped and fully addressed as in this example in North Lakes
way/561299824#map=19/-27.21703/153.02899
or this example of a commercial building near you
way/758458126#map=19/-27.19982/153.11440
Some websites that use the osm only update data infrequently and may use a separate database for addressing.

I have made the changes now...
Corrected name, added current Scarborough node to the boundary relation. Named Scarborough Beach Park and Scarborough Beach areas and reinstated cycle parking.

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ll change the name of the beach and park tomorrow and fix the bike parking tags up.
I wasn’t sure about the correct suburb naming method so I asked on out talk.au mailing lists and will change it as Alex has suggested. I think I might add the in_in tag too.
Cheers, Nev

I will change the name to the correct format and also add the is_in tag as explained here…
is_in=*

126451986 over 3 years ago

in regards to changing the name of the suburb Scarborough to Scarborough, Queensland, Australia

I think this is incorrect and will need to be changed back.

I should have added these comments to this changeset changeset/126451849#map=19/-27.20130/153.11529

Hi
you have changed an amenity for bicycle_parking with capacity of 5 to...
a leisure park and named it Scarborough Beach.
I can't see bicycle parking facilities in that spot on imagery so that should be deleted if it is not there.
The beach front is currently tagged...
name=Scarborough Point
natural=beach
way/655304645
Scarborough Point is at the rockwall at the northern end and the beach looks wrongly named to me.
Do you agree?
I propose renaming the beach to Scarborough Beach and also naming the park Scarborough Beach too
way/47906516#map=17/-27.20039/153.11562
Do you agree?
