Hi
I re-aligned the residential areas and deleted duplicate pitches. I am not local so I'll leave it for you now.
Cheers

Hi
I notice you have reduced the secondary college to the main building grouping in the se and made all the recreational areas public and outside the college grounds. You have also dragged the landuse=residential boundaries over the recreational areas. Apart from the residential boundaries which need fixing, are the recreational areas correct and not part of the college grounds. Do you need help in sorting out the problems here.

Please don't use Google as a source for mapping the OpenStreetMap as it is not permitted by Googles term of use.

Hi
The 'duplicate segment' here
http://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=116.80653&lat=-34.98506&zoom=14
appears to be a remnant bit of the NP boundary on CAPAD that you don't require.

The touching rings are of no concern I expect and just a technical advisory as the boundaries do touch in the datasets.

I might has misunderstood your changeset comment.
You appear to have mapped the railway property boundaries as landuse=railway as I would expect.

95713457 about 5 years ago

Hi
I would have thought that all the land within the fence boundary of the rail corridor should be tagged landuse=railway and would be used for any railway need such as access roads, maintenance sheds, etc . I see no reason for the boundary of landuse=railway to be closely bound by the rails.

no response, I have fixed as best as I can see from City of Melb 2018, 2019 imagery. I am remote from area so unable to survey.

Hi
I shifted this business out of the school grounds and onto the Royal Far West WOTSO building at 19-21 South Steyne, Manly.

I can revert your changeset and you can start again, if preferred.

95580425 about 5 years ago

Hi
it looks as if you have accidentally shifted a node here.

Are you able to fix it?

Hi Jamie
I removed the 'Home' you entered as it is a public map and not for private details.
The way to map a house is to use one of the editors under the 'Edit' button at the top left and add tags similar to those in this example
way/371575980#map=19/-27.67742/153.18080
Most try the iD editor first after do the intro to editing.
There is a new Potlatch 3 editor in final development so that is worth using when released. Discussion with the developer here https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=60263&p=2
The JOSM editor is the most able and comprehensive and takes more effort to learn.
While you at it you might like to add all the houses and addresses of your neighbors but be careful...mapping can be addictive :)

I have removed the tag amenity=place_of_worship and leave it to you to find the correct primary tag for this listing.

95419810 about 5 years ago

Hi FC4K
you have added one incomplete tag here
addr:suburb =
cheers

95405098 about 5 years ago

Hi John
Welcome to the OpenStreetMap.
I notice you have the tag ‘amenity=place_of_worship’
Do you agree that this is likely to be an incorrect tag and something similar to office=company may be more suitable.

Hi
information in your changeset comments that can be more naturally read by humans would be appreciated.

woodpeck, am I sure?.. no, but I do like to convey a conviction that experienced mappers in Aus prefer these type of wooded areas in towns be tagged with natural=wood and/or landcover=trees. In general, groups of trees in parks are usually remnant gumtree or other natives and are rarely pruned except for safety from large limb fall if damaged.
I am eager to see the landcover tags be rendered in the standard osm layer and would prefer those over natural or landuse tags for dense urban lawn and tree covered areas.
I would like to see the landuse=forest be better defined in the wiki to convey to mappers that it is essentially land used for forestry operations or other more actively managed tree use but this continues to be contentious.

Yes, Crows Nest is one of the best mapped towns now. Well done.

Hi
I have disconnected the Anderson Street node from the Tan Track and re-aligned to imagery.
