This also appears to be a normal housing residence instead of 'Jolt-eon Park'
Should it be deleted?

Hi
this appears to be a normal suburban house to me and does not resemble 'The Village Temple' to me.
Arte you aware you are editing a public map?

Cafe re-mapped node/5580087836

58427382 over 7 years ago

Hi
I reverted this edit to correct an accidental shift of a node. I then re-mapped the 22 Gram Cafe. All is ok now.

I expect all the ones you deleted may have been added by you so you can ignore my comments.
I find it a bit difficult to see the history of things after they have been deleted.

58311575 over 7 years ago

You can feel free to delete anything you mapped yourself I suppose.

58311575 over 7 years ago

You should not be deleting what you consider to be 'unnecessary amount of footpaths'. Others like pedestrian, disability scooters, elderly, pram users may find those more useful than you. It is an general rule when editing OSM that we don't delete what others have gone to the trouble to map, even micro-mapping, unless it is in error.
Would you like me to delete your mapping?

Hi
what are you trying to map? I see four short parallel lines with no tags through some crop rows.
This is a public map.

58251817 over 7 years ago

Hi, welcome to mapping.
You appear to have deleted many of the buildings that others have added to the map. It is usual that we don't delete others work unless it is wrong. Many of the buildings that you have added don't follow the building outlines and many of your edits are just a rough square delineation of part of the property boundary.
I suggest you have a good look at a well mapped town and emulate their work.

You have placed the business on the roadway. Please relocate it to where the business operates from or delete it.

PLANACC in an html like string seems endemic in Tassie

Likely a big hydro data import years ago.

Agreed.
Greyim was at the start of the edit history so might shed some light.

58076560 over 7 years ago

OK, it displays ok on the deep history page so might as well be left as is I suppose.

greyim,
I noticed a small section of stream along Sassafras Creek that needs splitting and the name added way/579710816#map=18/-41.57870/146.34979

Hi
You could also add old_name or alt_name if useful.
name=*

Hi
why is there a string of html type text in the description tag on Sassafras Creek?

I have reverted the changesets around the Warburton Golf Club area to original state after no response from query of unusual edits.

57968196 over 7 years ago

Reverted changeset/57968196:
Highway tag removed incorrectly.
Poi added to park area instead of correct address location.

In Broome, you have deleted an area tagged as natural=scrub which appears to be still scrub on satellite imagery. Has this been recently redeveloped into another residential area?
You have deleted an area tagged as landuse=residential which appears to be correctly applied to a residential housing area. Is this area different now?
Your changeset comment translates from chinese to 'just buildings'
This is a public map. If you have made these changes by accident, I can revert them if you wish

Welcome to the OpenStreetMap Michael Dobson. I have noticed unusual mapping by you this evening, including changing the shape of buildings on the Warburton Golf Club, shifting The Patchwork Tea House from it's location on to the Warburton Highway and finally deleting the the Warburton Golf Club entirely.
This is a public map. Are you intending to correct or remap these items or should I or a local mapper revert the changes entirely?

Hi galacticism
I raised the issue on talk.au https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-au/2018-April/date.html
and it seems we are unable to use the DNRME QLDGlobe data yet.
Are you able to revert or undo those parts of your mapping that used this data. There is a 'revert changeset' plugin for JOSM that can assist to partially or completely undo changesets. You may find it easier to undo the affected items and then remap using sources we have explicit permission for and add comment to that effect in the changeset comments. If necessary others can revert all those changesets that refer to the use of QldGlobe data. If you want to discuss this further I think it would be best the use the talk-au mailing list where the situation with using data sets is often discussed with those who are more knowledgeable than me on this subject and can assist. Past discussions in the archive will give you an idea of the process to get permission to use in OSM.
We appreciate your extensive mapping effort in the area but need to be careful to use sources that allow their data to be included in OpenStreetMap.
Regards Nev.
