I have added highway=service plus service=driveway
This way is tagged as private access already so is not a public access road.
This will be correctly rendered on the OpenStreetMap shortly by other maps you may use may take weeks to months to update.

hi
you seem to have deleted vthe veaster half of Redwood Street to where it joins Oriel Road. This part of the street still appears on latest Bing imagery.

I reverted this too as ATM at incorrect position.

Hi
Am not familiar with the iD editor but I think you need to add a node at each end of the tunnel then select the node and a scissors icon will be pop up and using that splits the line.

Hi
You have added a tunnel to the entire length of the way. You need to instead split the way at each end of the tunnel and add the tag to just the tunnel part.

Hi
for the flying fox management area, I removed the polygon nodes from other things such as the motorway and cycleways, added tags to define as a protected area boundary and changed landuse=forest to natural=wood because the forest tags is normally used for forestry managed areas. The mapped wooded area normally bound all the treed area but in this case you have defined the leaf type and cycle and is specific to the use so I have left in the protected area boundary.

boundary=protected_area

natural=wood

Hi Paul
I noticed you deleted the tag leisure=slipway from the Saratoga Boat Ramp. Was this accidental?
leisure=slipway

Likewise here...I expect highway=service is more suitable than residential.

111143528 over 4 years ago

Just a comment....
that service roads can be be publicly accessible. If tagged as residential, routers will use for local traffic movement within the suburb. This narrow roadway seems more of a service road for residential parking and access to rear of properties.
I think highway=service may be more suitable.
highway=*

I see the area is under construction and street part no longer exists.

111144572 over 4 years ago

Yes, I’ll do it tomorrow. Cheers.

111144572 over 4 years ago

Hi
If a street has a portion that is not publically accessible, it still needs to be mapped. Just add the tag access=no to that section.

Thanks, I’ll defer to your expertise and skill and leave you to it. I was fixing the geometry while you were editing just now and got a heap of conflicts on trying to upload so I exited the session and it should be fine.

Thanks, that would be helpful and like the way Josm can be used in that way. The filters are often very useful too.

Hi Ds5rUy
I have mapped them without enough detail.
I think they need to be mapped as you have done and split where the profile changes where they intersect with other ways as specified by the wiki
kerb=*
I haven't done that in my mapping and it is requires more detail that I am willing to apply or maintain.
Because of that I feel they are of dubious value and I thought it best to delete and leave to others to do properly instead.
As you have expressed an interest I have re-instated the kerbs in the Mango Hill Village area for now. I may delete later if you agree that the ones I have mapped are of little or no value.

Hi
Are you able to correct the Peel Park boundary or the buildings as they are over-lapping.

110769450 over 4 years ago

There is an improbability with all your edits and they have been reverted.
