Hi,
I reverted your business addition to the OpenStreetMap for some of the reasons listed on our wiki
osm.wiki/Spam#SEO_Spam
Adding a name and all other info in a description tag is not suitable, please use something like https://osmybiz.osm.ch/#/9/-27.49122/152.67700 to initially help adding your business in to the OSM with suitable tags.

Correction: source should be...

Hi
I noticed you have been adding a wooded area in the following changesets.
In doing so you have changed the boundary of the Curramore Sanctuary Nature Refuge and the Curramore Private Nature Reserve both of which overlay each other in the CAPAD 2016 dataset, which I am hoping will be resolved by CAPAD 2018 when released.

https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=74704838
https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=74705915

Do you have more recent information on the gazetted boundaries or has this been an accidental change when trying to map the wooded area?

If it is in error, I can easily leave the new boundary as natural=wood and re-add the protected area boundaries of the refuge and reserve.

I think wooded areas and protected areas normally should be mapped separately as the two rarely coincide around the edges.

Thanks, I have reverted the changeset.
Good to see a people caring about the natural environment and retaining space for our fauna and flora to thrive too.
You may wish to re-delete the driveway though it seems to be tagged correctly, but other mappers may re-map it later anyway, so likely a lost cause.
Cheers.

Please don't make further changes as yet, as the easiest way to reinstate the treed areas is to revert this changeset and that is more easily done without further changes.
Let me know if you are happy for me to fix it or otherwise.
...correction to previous text...
"We are simply mapping areas that area treed" should read "We are simply mapping areas that are treed"

74604208 over 6 years ago

There is a misunderstanding here in the way the wooded areas are mapped in the OSM.
We are simply mapping areas that area treed, irrespective of whether they are on private land or otherwise. There is no implication that the treed areas are public bushland or have any public access.
If you wish to keep walkers out of your property you will need to fence it adequately with signage.
Private driveways, etc are also mapped from satellite or other aerial imagery and access=private or other suitable tags applied.
natural=wood
Also for your info, I recently re-mapped the Mt Coot-tha Reserve boundary using a gis dataset supplied by the Brisbane City Council.

Please enlighten us why you have deleted so much of my mapped wooded areas.

Hi
osmi found no errors today in the areas and geometry so all that is correct.
http://osmose.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/#zoom=13&lat=-29.4201&lon=153.3314&item=xxxx&level=1&tags=geom&fixable= also found no geometry errors.
Looks good apart from the coastline not aligned with the mean high water spring line which is about where the debris line that high tide leaves. That would normally result in the beach area crossing the coastline when I occasionally map a beach.
natural=coastline
natural=beach
It can be left for others unless your keen.
There appears not much consistency in how these are mapped in practice.
I would leave the National Park (and other protected areas if any) separate from the coastline and admin boundaries as these have gazetted boundaries that can be checked by someone who has the dataset and/or when the dataset is updated. It is common to see these boundaries not coincide.
Thanks for all your work in the area. I camped at Woody Head a couple of years ago and found it to be a great place for a holiday.
Cheers.

Hi Aleksie
I think you may have misspelt the street name in the addr tag

73780837 over 6 years ago

Yes
Tagged as amenity=taxi is incorrect
amenity=taxi
If a taxi business is operating from the address I expect office=company may be sufficient.

Hi
I removed the natural=water tags on the two waterbodies you added.
These two lakes have inner islands and are therefore mapped as multipolygon relations. The tags in such relations are added to the relation instead of the outer ways.
See the examples here...
osm.wiki/Relation:multipolygon
The Josm editor is preferred to edit relations.

I have reverted this as seo spam, point added to street centreline, address given not at this location. Please locate the business over the building location you operate from.
