Hi, I have begun repairing the osmi areas along the Qld coast following the beach revert.

153105063 over 1 year ago

Hi again, not sure if these problems were from your editing as there have been a vast number of reverts around the coastline to beaches due to a unsuitable source used.
I haven’t had a look what the osmi errors involve either.
This changeset comment may be related to the osmi errors…

Hi
There seems to be a problem to fix here

Regarding Yabung
...another curiosity is this section which also carries the Yabung name
way/1110690514#map=18/-37.81434/145.40071 and a small section that it joins way/80398218
The highway tag has been removed so it may no longer be used.

I expect the Magpie Trail relation is ok. It seems to have 3 options to join or exit it at the northern end.

153329477 over 1 year ago

Is the Magpie Trail relation correct?
relation/2948297#map=14/-37.8179/145.4002
It appears to be made of two crossing trails.

I'm also accepting of the Lily and Maizie Islands one member MPs. Reusing the same way in MPs to have one feature per mp.

You should draw the outlines of the buildings along the driveway and add address tags to those instead. See other examples in the area that have address tags added.

Hi, the private driveway off Centennial Crescent should not have a name.

This is all fixed now.
I don't see why Lily and Maizie Islands need to be single member multipolygons.

Hi
I corrected the phone and opening hours format.
osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines/Australian_features#Phone_Numbers
opening_hours=*#Syntax
Your Sunday format can be off or closed whichever preferred.

There are sections on this osm wiki that give examples of valid and invalid multipolygons

…could it be that the hospital was correctly mapped before this. In that case it might be easiest to revert your change.

152874011 over 1 year ago

Hi
Osmi informs that the multipolgon needs correcting
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=149.15488&lat=-21.14709&zoom=17
I haven’t looked closely at this but expect that polygons with outer role are touching and this makes the multipolygon invalid.
You should use the osm wiki to understand what makes multipolygons invalid.
You should use building:part method instead of a multipolygon, but the individual parts don’t render on the map yet, so you may prefer to map each section as simple polygons instead.

Hi
the wetland has a problem at the Moresby River mouth where it meets Mourilyan Harbour.
https://tools.geofabrik.de/osmi/?view=areas&lon=146.11474&lat=-17.64157&zoom=13
The line across the mouth invalidates the multipolygon as the last water polygon of the Moresby River joins the wetland outer which is disallowed.
The way to fix this is to removed that line from the wetland multipolygon and instead use the bank of the waterways as part of the wetland boundary.
To do this you will need to make each of the waterway polygons into multipolygons and split them so that you have a separate line to use for the wetland following around the boundary of the waterways.
This problem reoccurs at the waterway mouths at the western side of the harbour and at the wooded area in that vicinity.
Let me know if this is too complex for you to correct.

The surface may be compacted gravel instead...
surface=*
Can you you fix if necessary thanks.
Also Vic has complex rules meaning pedestrian and cyclists may not both be able to use. I tagged as a path meaning that both can use.

152970420 over 1 year ago

Hi
I added highway=path + surface=concrete tags to the path so that it will render on the map

152888533 over 1 year ago

I had a closer look at the mapping as I am familiar with the area and saw the grassed easement area encroached the private property boundary so I went ahead and realigned it using the Esri imagery.

If you clear the cache in your browser and check tomorrow you should see that it is correct now.

Hi, welcome to osm.
I reverted this edit because you appear to have shifted the culvert and stream unintentionally and am unsure what your intention was or how to fix it.
Can you zoom in closer and have another try and maybe leave the stream as is.

I will try to fix these myself over the next few days. Building relations and building:part mapping is not very familiar to me so let me know if you think I have made errors.
