Hi, I would like to know how you were able to extend Back Creek as a culvert from Waringal Road to near the junction of Canterbury Road and Elgar Road

I see you have done as well as can be expected in mapping the house with limited imagery. I also added your new neighbors house

Hi, welcome to osm.
You have mapped the plot of land instead of the building. You are expected to accurately draw the outline of the house instead.

Hi, welcome to osm.
I have reverted you changeset because you have dragged a couple of points on the map to incorrect positions.
You also need to map your business over the building it operates from instead of the roadway.
You need to add a primary tag to define what it is you are adding to the map.
I suggest shop=party maybe suitable
shop=party

Hi, I reverted this as it needs re-mapping onsite to fix.

Hi, welcome to osm.
There are a few problems with the terrace you had added.
The building outlines on the property are expected to be traced instead of the shape of the land plot or building lot on which they sit.
The addr:housenumber has an ‘ accent added after the number.
The street name needs to have the ‘street’ part with an upper case S.
As the osm is essentially a database from which data is extracted to enable maps to be made or for navigation or other data evaluation, it is important that the correct and exact formatted data is entered into osm.

House outline not viewed by me using available imagery so mapped house as icon instead of use land plot shape.

I added disused=yes to the cinema.
I mapped the building to make it easier to add a node for any business operating there.

Hi, I noticed that cinnema should be Cinema.
Is this cinema still in operation?
On google street view it appears as a private business selling antenna and satellite dishes. We do not have permission to use Google to assist in editing osm so can’t make changes based on that.
There is no Mapillary imagery either.
This document seems to state the Rainbow Cinema in Clermont closed in the 1960’s
https://www.caths.org.au/venues/pdf/qld.pdf
Are you local to the area and able to clarify?
If closed and is of significance, maybe add the tag historic=yes
historic=*

Thanks, I think I fixed it yesterday. Cheers

Thanks, I understand.
I have reverted my changeset
node/11923904846
The address should be reinstated as the name shortly.

151652790 over 1 year ago

Hi, the name tag is not for repeating the address which is already tagged. The name tag is for the name of the business.

Hi robbie420, please only map real things on the osm. I have deleted your edits.

The dam tag in osm is used to tag dam walls.
waterway=dam

151431216 over 1 year ago

Hi, the correct osm tagging for a swimming pool is leisure=pool and a private pool would also have access=private.
leisure=swimming_pool

151431747 over 1 year ago

These are the correct tags for a swimming pool
leisure=swimming_pool
You may need to also add access tags if not a public pool

151431226 over 1 year ago

Hi, what in Australia is colloquially referred to a dam is tagged in osm as natural=water plus water=reservoir
water=*

151474225 over 1 year ago

For your convenience, I reverted this in changeset/151487052

151431764 over 1 year ago

Hi, the onramps were correctly mapped already. A separate way only extends to where there is a physical barrier separating them like a concrete barrier of fence and not to where they are only separated by painted lines.
The lanes tag is used to define how many lanes are across the road:
