mvoorhis | Looking at Google satellite view in early 2024, it appears there is no longer a runway here. The "Swift Airport" has a webpage on the "Abandoned and Little-Known Airfields" website and the designation should be removed from OSM. See here: http://www.airfields-freeman.com/CT/Airfields_CT_E.htm ... google satellite view of the immediate area is here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DLiohJxsz7gBxxfM7

asiplas | Unable to answer "What surface does the road West Hampton Street have here?" for way/9055844 via StreetComplete 5.1: Dirt from College to just before Clay Street. Intersection of Hampton and Malvern is asphalt. Clay street is dirt.

Mateusz Konieczny | Is it a wetland or a water? If it is not wetland then wetland tag should be deleted, if it is a wetland than natural=wetland rather than natural=water should be used

jremillard | Does the Barre Reservoir Dam still exist? Looks like it was removed in images.

mvoorhis | This road allegedly named "Prison Camp Fire Road." Its eastern terminus is the four-way intersection with Prison Camp Road. Its western terminus is unknown. Does "Prison Camp Fire Road" end ad the intersection with "Kitchen Fire Road" or does it end at its intersection with "Pine Plain Road" after crossing the flood control dike? Many of these roads are unlabelled, see i.e., http://docs.unh.edu/MA/brre54se.jpg (which pre-dates the floodcontrol dam's creation). Searches using historic USGS maps are not generally helpful.

mvoorhis | Prison Camp Road ceases at the 4-way intersection just south of this marker. The road under this marker becomes ELM STREET at that point. ELM STREET continues until somewhere in the area of the Rutland-Barre-Hubbardston town intsersection. North of that area, this road is known as BRIGHAM ROAD until ending at its intersection with MA-62. Renaming the road sections involves splitting the points for the road into segments--I don't yet know how to do this and would end up damaging the map.

mvoorhis | This road is named "Kitchen Fire Road." There is a sign naming the road at its northern end.

mvoorhis | This road is called OLIVIA KNOLL. It is a newly-created road in the town of paxton, MA. Historically speaking, when I edit roads and road-segments in OSM I end up doing destructive things by accident, so some SMART person should name this road "Olivia Knoll." For supporting evidence, see Google Street View here https://goo.gl/maps/E3T83Xcom11VQDVMA

mvoorhis | The region surrounding this note-point is the MUIR MEADOW CONSERVATION RESTRICTION. Despite the name it is a public area, which is adjacent to the SOUTHWICK POND area, immediately to the south. This area is described here: https://www.gwlt.org/lands-and-trails/four-town-greenway/muir-meadows/
