| 129718513 | about 3 years ago | This may be surprising for you, but I have no obligation to immediately respond to your comments. I have better things to do than argue with someone who is rude. And you don't have to tell me that I am "ignoring" your comments two hours after you left the comment. So, you are going to wait like everyone else. |
| 129596686 | about 3 years ago | Again, please stop the baseless accusations of cultural insensitivity, and the claims about my knowledge or intentions. If you are not willing to engage in a rational conversation here, I will not respond to you any further. |
| 129596686 | about 3 years ago | In fact, I have contacted the Tsuut'ina Nation to find out what the name is in the Tsuut'ina language. |
| 129596686 | about 3 years ago | The reserve is called "Tsuu T'ina Nation 145" according to government sources I found. Note the space in the name. The Tsuut'ina name was deleted because it is the name of the nation and not the name of the reserve itself. So it was not factually incorrect. If you find the name of the reserve in the Tsuut'ina language, please do add it. Kindly do not accuse me of cultural insensitivity because of something you don't fully understand. |
| 129596686 | about 3 years ago | What happened is two mappers were changing the names of reserves in Canada and reservations in the US from the actual name to the name of the indigenous group that inhabits these places. When I originally made the edit, I wasn't sure exactly how to ensure that the actual reserve has some representation on OSM. But after asking on the talk-ca mailing list, the consensus seems to be that the renaming of the reserves is not correct. With that said, I deleted the relation I created and corrected the name of the original reserve. |
| 128607009 | about 3 years ago | There was no issue with the way the borders were displayed. Please revert all of your edits to the US/Canada border.
|
| 128596583 | about 3 years ago | This edit has been reverted as the modified relation should be tagged as a statistical boundary.
|
| 129596686 | about 3 years ago | You can see the name change here: https://osmlab.github.io/osm-deep-history/#/relation/4183319 |
| 129596686 | about 3 years ago | Hello, The relation you linked was originally named Tsuu T'ina Nation 145, but some other mappers changed the name to Tsuut'ina Nation. Not sure why they did that, but I think it would be appropriate to have at least something with the name of the reserve present. |
| 125310910 | over 3 years ago | Why did you change the tags to "subject:wikidata" and "subject:wikipedia"? From what I can see, the "subject" part of those tags are for something that is memorialized. |
| 124996742 | over 3 years ago | Apologies, I didn't get a chance to reply. The Wikidata and Wikipedia tags weren't correct as the standard seems to be "wikidata=x" and "wikipedia=x". |
| 125122157 | over 3 years ago | This edit has been reverted. The name of the tribe that occupies this reservation is not appropriate to use as the name of the reservation.

| 124113834 | over 3 years ago | From what I can see on the default OSM viewer, River Road south of where your pictures were taken was changed from a road to a track. I'm away from my computer at the moment, so I can't check in more detail. |
| 124113834 | over 3 years ago | Thanks for the pictures. I only asked because I thought it was strange that only this section of River Road is closed. But now it looks like the rest of River Road is marked as closed to vehicle traffic. |
| 124113834 | over 3 years ago | Hello, do you have any pictures or articles that mention that River Road is closed to vehicle traffic? |
| 123700404 | over 3 years ago | Apologies. Edit reverted. |
| 123545035 | over 3 years ago | Correction: I added the Wellington location, not the Christchurch location. |
| 120329346 | over 3 years ago | As far as I can tell, any signs near the borders of the reservation use the name that I used. If this is incorrect, please provide a source. Additionally, there is no need to say "we", as you aren't a representative of the OSM Foundation or any of it's subsidiary organizations. |
| 119572170 | almost 4 years ago | You need to check edits in a changeset before performing rollbacks. Your recent edits are removing legitimate data from OSM.
|
| 119645247 | almost 4 years ago | Understood. When I changed the "name" tag, I did not know if there was any sort of established editing practices for the disputed South China Sea islands. At least I wasn't able to find any. My edits were solely based on the edits of some other users. |
