good point, didn't see the other one on the map. I know for sure the one I saw was on the left hand side when entering the station, so probably it changed location

My bad, actually the part "Comment cartographier les adresses" of the above url seems to refer to this, saying it is debated and links to an english link, so I don't think there is only one way of doing it in France

Hi, thanks a lot for your detailed feedback, it made me learn about this provides_features which I didn't know about.
Do you know if it is widely used by osm services to 'lookup' store addresses (it makes sense but seems more complicated than having the address on the POI itself)

I checked what is the recommandation for France and there is no consensus currently osm.wiki/FR:Adresses ("Bâtiments avec plusieurs numéros d'adresses")

I think we should not to remove any street name/number completely from POIs unless there is an associated relation with this provides_feature. Maybe I will try to create an overpass query to detect if it is missing following an edit.

I completely understand your way of working if the POIs have changed significantly but looking at this one through achavi, I don't think this is the proper way to make changes.

La Voglia was not moved, but all the address info was removed.
Ma Nolan's was slighly moved, obviously still in the middle of that street so it's pretty clear the addr:str did not change.
Credit Agricole slightly moved, addr:str was removed even though it's in the middle of the street.

From my perspective, I understand that you might not be certain of the address, I am not certain either sometimes, but I really try not to remove what other people added in osm.
Maybe they were certain, maybe they were not, but I will not remove any data unless I am certain of it.
Maybe I am wrong, but I believe this should be how we go about deleting other people's edits, no?

Do you have some wiki reference or discussion that recommend not having POI address but instead separate complete address nodes? I try to stay open and update my way of working if it makes sense.

That's a very good point, I hadn't noticed that this had been present and removed previously.

I saw that the whole building is tagged as Société Générale and on below link this is their official address:

I have no problem to remove the addr:street part. Just curious what is at the location of the 2 other address on that building?

This change should be reverted due to weird changes noticed and no feedback from user for almost 2 months

The north part of the area is still scrub I would say but all the south has been built or just a few patches left of vegetations. I live in this area so I will check again this weekend and update

Hi Iain, this area is being completely rebuilt, now its mostly condos and constructions sites with a few green patches, does scrub still apply?
