hola. gracias por apoyar OSM y gracias por pedir revisión (review-requested). te tengo una pregunta, quizás no entendí: mencionaste que entre los dos carriles de la transístmica hay una división en concreto?

Plan Verde UNI: you have used the names "Palma real", "palmera real", "palmera botella", and have given these to the two keys "name" and "species". You should choose one, and assign it to the key "species:es" or if the same tree has several vernacular names, you may consider adding all of these names in the value for "species:es", and separate them names by semicolon ':'.

these edits of yours are a bit difficult to review and some need fixing. you have occasionally collapsed different vernacular names into one scientific name, and I assume you haven't been on the spot, or have you?

let me understand … the Piako river might get three name tags, like ›name=Río Piako‹, ›name:es=Río Piako‹, ›name:en=Piako‹. Or what would be the case?
(I or one find prefixing all river names with the word "Río" quite superfluous. I've seen that most Latin Americans do this structurally, I don't see the point, but accept it as a local mapping practice.)

about this "Manantial", it would be nice to have its extension, maybe paths, facilities, viewpoints, … otherwise, the way it's now in the map, it has little meaning and even less visibility.

hi. are you still there? in Panama there's so little "on-the-ground" presence. want to get in contact with others? care to check how to contribute using StreetComplete?

hi there. "review requested". by removing the value for "shop", you have hereby broken the object at node/7549867071. it is now not clear what this is.
apart from this particular case, osmose signals several incomplete objects on your name in your area, I'm sure you wish to review them. (osmose.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/#zoom=12&lat=8.1146&lon=-80.9408&item=2110&level=1%2C2)
happy mapping.

hola. todavía haces parte de YMUP? sigue existiendo el capítulo? estoy revisando estas contribuciones, y no sé su tuvo el impacto positivo deseado sobre las poblaciones afectadas. parece un "pilot", más que un trabajo acabado.

hi … any chance you still remember why you gave an English name to a Jehovah's Witnesses "kingdom hall" in Panamá? in Volcán. cheers, hope you're in good health and you come back to mapping for OSM.

hola Porfirio! local names, don't delete them, try to keep that information, like under "species:es". :-)

121861815 over 3 years ago

I don't understand what is going on here … I'm looking at node/9773097146, initially identified as species=Tuyas orientales (spelling mistake for Thuya orientalis, a non accepted synonym of Platycladus orientalis) and proper individual name "Ciprés".
porfiriopaiz tried to help, correcting the scientific name to the proper accepted binomial, and removing the proper name.
the original editor "corrected", removing the correction, and setting 'species' to 'cipres'.
now it becomes even more curious, because what is porfiriopaiz doing, translating again to a different species?

can the initial mapper please get in contact? the goal is a better map, and if you have access to first hand information, we are only trying to help you state what you mean so that we understand it.

species:es

a safer move would be to move the vernacular name to its key, instead of keeping the 'species' key and fixing (guessing) the name.
even better if these editors would reply.

Porfirio, be careful when translating vernacular names to scientific: "Almendra" says close to nothing here in Latin America. it could be the European Prunus ducis as you say, but much more probable it's a Terminalia catappa.
