hi Guido, thank you for reviewing the data here in Panama. do you think you could spend a few more words to explain what happened here, in particular what was the problem that you saw, and only briefly on how you fixed it? IIRC, MauCal created relations for waterways, it was part of a global effort of I don't recall which project. Maybe you also want to comment on one of the changesets where the mistakes were introduced, that you fixed here.
OSMCha.org says that you removed waterway=river from a large set of nodes, but also from two way elements: way/1065547775, way/1103003186.

por cuanto, si tu fuente era esa, nos hubieras ahorrado mucho tiempo, simplemente informando al resto de la comunidad OSM.

Siempre la misma curiosidad, en este caso el Cerro Paloma. Cómo reconociste su nombre, y cuál fuente utilizaste, pues en Bino no se ven nombres, y el punto no cuadra con el OpenTopoMap.

hi again. I moved your building to landuse=retail, and added a new building=mall for the built-up area alone. I put the name on the landuse, not on the building. we could add the parking area, and the driveways, or the roofed paths. I'll leave that to you now. please notice how the rendering is not updated immediately, that's the way it is, to update the rendering costs computing time, and OSM does not have that in huge quantities.

hi, welcome to contributing to OSM! if you're a local person and able to add and validate names and other local information, your help will be invaluable! here you added a Plaza Bugaba, for which there is already an object, on the opposite side of the Panamericana. if it's a retail area that spans on both sides, you can add a landuse=retail and name it. then remove or fix the names from the two buildings.

otra cosa: por lo general las casas numeradas con sufixo A, B, son casas familiares simétricas, bajo el mismo techo. en inglés se llaman semi-detached https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semi-detached. he visto proyectos en Panamá con la misma lógica.

hola. Aquí actuaste "por sugerencia de otros editores" remotos, a quienes les parecía raro que una carretera pasara precisamente por un cerro, y que un río naciera de la cumbre de un cerro.

Por cuanto ahora podría ser cierto, lo que mapeaste, igual no se entiende cómo hiciste a ubicar la cumbre del cerro, ni el nacimiento del río Juay. En particular entre los Node: 7712229075 y Node: 7712229076 yo no veo nada que justifique ni un drain.

La cumbre del cerro Mitú, si debiera confiar en el OpenTopoMap, lo pondría 50m a Sur Oeste del punto donde lo pusiste tú. Pero OpenTopoMap no me apoya con la cuota 671m, así que yo no me atrevo cambiar nada.

mapear basado en observación directa sería mucho mejor.

Hola Ariel, entiendo que es una importación muy vieja, pero puesto que sigues en OSM, me interesa si me quisieras comentar sobre la "Manzana de Hoteles" (way/232947950). quizás ahora con más experiencia y más contactos dentro de OSM la etiquetarías diferente? el wiki dice "Industrial land may include buildings like workshops, factories or warehouses and their associated infrastructure".

hola, estaba ampliando la mirada con relación al Topic (https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/nombres-que-describen-un-hotel-sin-la-etiqueta-correspondiente/2943) y encuentro esta contribución, en que cuatro edificios "building=hotel" no están asociados a un tourism ni amenity hotel.

hola. cuál es la fuente de la información de extensión, ubicación, nombre de estos landuse=residential? Santa Lucía no se ve en Maxar; del Río sí se ve, pero con otra extensión.
