hola. no sé si sigues mapeando. osmose me anota unas cuantas "noexit" que sí tienen salida. si quieres revisar?

hola, be careful with capitalization. while the value can be "Bing", the key must be "source".

Hi daGreif. you have just visited the area, right? do you think you could be even more helpful, and be more specific than "natural=fell"?
https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/issues/545#issuecomment-98479426

anyhow, thanks a lot for your refinements.

Hi. The link to the changeset was to show you what happened to a foreigner trusting our OSM map here in Panamá. She then added the non-accessible area as a camping site, but whether that's correct or not, that's not the point and I cannot tell. The point is that we need survey because there's several private, no entry places here in this country, and they are very hard to tell just from aerial pictures. If I'm still not making any sense, please have a look at the youtube video she shared.

Hola Kaart! are you only doing remote mapping? or you have a team in place at the moment? have a look at a user experience here: changeset/117174267
bit of a shame, letting a biker drive so many miles into a no-entrance private area, or enter a riverbed as if it were a road.
but that's something we can only address with on place observations.

117174267 almost 4 years ago

maybe, just maybe:

barrier=gate at the node;
access=private on the ways behind it.

117174267 almost 4 years ago

tja … welcome to privately owned Panama. could you add the position of the gate where you had to turn back? maybe should add "access=private", too.

117174267 almost 4 years ago

oh, wow, that's not what I had expected! anyhow, enjoy your visit and if you manage to upload GPS traces maybe we could use them. the density of GPS recordings in the country is really low.

hi. are you in the area? or just remote mapping? https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=61

about the changeset comment: your user is shielded by your software, so their comment could easily be put in a template making sure that the final changeset comment clarifies to us reviewers that this contribution came through a software, and that feedback should be provided to a team, not to the (possibly absolute beginner) providing the information. something like: "#MSFT - original comment: …"

changeset comment could be more explicit, and proxy user page could provide a link to the organized edits page, and your team could try to keep the organized edits page a bit more up-to-date (the last edit was almost 11 months ago).
thanks for the prompt reply, hope you can use my feedback.

hi, thank you for adding information to the OSM database. from your changeset count looks like you're a beginner; if you're regularly able to visit sparsely mapped areas, would you like to come in contact with other mappers? https://t.me/Comunidad_OSM_Panama & https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=61

Microsoft proxy user, poor data quality. what do we do about it?

116783451 almost 4 years ago

hi. may I hint you at providing better comments to your changesets? you mention "roads", but you're mapping water bodies. may I also hint you at consulting the wiki for the tags to use? these you added here aren't "lagoon".

116565311 almost 4 years ago

did you notice that the relation is now broken? any intention to help OSM, or you're too much enjoying just messing around?

116519229 almost 4 years ago

Hi, welcome to Panama, and to contributing to OSM. please do have a look at the forum https://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewforum.php?id=61 and see if there's anything that might be of interest to you, and where you can help mapping Panama.
there's a small Telegram group where we chat from time to time: https://t.me/Comunidad_OSM_Panama

hola Carlos Eduardo. puesto que estás utilizando JOSM, te sugiero buscar entre los complementos buildings_tools. te evitaría errores debidos a simple distracción.
