| OpenPoiMap - aka Taglocator | Because of a possible overflow (or a time-out) with large sets of data, you need this trick to do want you want do:
You now must zoom in to the point where the blue/black bar at the top of the screen starts to spin. Wait till it stops and zoom out till you see the whole country.
When I did that, I saw this:
Doing the same thing for all the Pubs in the UK might not work because of the huge number of Pubs! |

| Taglocator | Version 0.6 brings many improvements: Icons replace the colored circles:
Popup with much more information and better layout:

| Taglocator | Curently the version has now increased to Bèta 0.3b.
There are many improvements (some are just on the softwarelevel) others are clearly visible.
E.g. you can now set up your own tag selection and save/reload it as needed:
Also the layout in the popupscreen has been improved:

| Taglocator | Thanks for your input @AndiG88. Especially a link to the wiki might be very useful. Adding indicators probably makes the tool a bit overloaden with features. I want it to be small and fast with no screen clutter. |

| Editing with Overpass and Level0 | Indeed a helpful tool for some of the tasks we sometimes have to do! |

| gpx trace | Is this maybe of help: Also try a right mouseclick in JOSM on the gpx layer. I found this: http://forum.openstreetmap.org/viewtopic.php?id=3782 I’m being faced with the same problem but have not yet solved it. |

| New users shouldn't be allowed to delete a lot of data | It’s my opinion that the layer with administrative borders shouldn’t be available at all to the regular mapper. When I started mapping I was really puzzled (and confused) by the idea that real things (like roads, mountains and rivers) could be connected to a ‘virtual’ world of borders. And at what point becomes a “new” user an “accepted” user? So yes, I support your complaining, but I also plea for a non-editable layer of administrative (and other) boundaries. |

.
The name (when available) is now used as the heading for that poi, and links (both websites and wikipedia) are now in place links.
I’m still working on more improvements. Please leave your comments here!
