"fix point" is not a very helpfull comment, we are all always fixing points! Can you tell us what you fixed at what point?

Don't use the name tag to describe what something is!!

Anyway, I fixed all the brand=House tags to also include name=House!
Thanks for pointing me to this.

128721841 about 3 years ago

I fixed it. It was a mistake because there are 1000's of name=House where building=house was meant.
Also there are many brand:House shops that are located in a building=retail + shop=clothes location where the building shouldn't cary a name because that is already in the brand.

There are many incorrect uses of the name=* tag related to buildings.
We see often name=house where building=house should have been used.
I'm fixing those errors, sometimes using larger bounding boxes to prevent creating 3500+ changesets each with just one fix!

I have fixed the building for you.
You should give the name of the isolated_dwelling. If you don't know that, don't use it.

128684565 about 3 years ago

Hi,
See:
way/1111767167
You cannot combine place=isolated_dwelling with name=building!
That is nonsense.
Also see:

and:

and:

Hello,
In this:
way/1111642208
you used the name=building tag for an isolated dwelling.
That is not correct.
I changed it and moved the node for the isolated_dwelling inside the group of houses.
But you should give a name to that isolated dwelling (name=building is not correct).

I have changed many of your buildings that you had tagged with "name=Building" (building=yes is required, the other is wrong)
