What do you mean with that?

Hi,
You are using many times natural=diff
like here:
way/1300714977

What is that supposed to indicate?
Did you mean natural=cliff?

Hi,
Why did you tag all the individual trees as forest?
Read this:
osm.wiki/wiki/
Tag:natural%3Dtree
And conjunto cerrado should NOT be tagged on the buildings but on the area surrounding the buildings.

Hi,
You have labeled 70+ buildings with an invalid tag for a building.
Please check this:
building=*
What type of building did you want to map?

If one searches in the OSM wiki for "pavillon", you are being asked: do you mean "pavilion"?
If one searches in the OSM wiki for "pavillion", you are being asked: do you mean "pavilion"?
If (and it might be true) that there is an other type of building, named "pavillon (tagged first in 2017, and it is indeed in my German dictionary) then there should have been a wiki describing it, and that wiki should also point out the differences between a "pavillon" and a "pavilion".
If I understand flohoff well, then this is correct:
changeset/159783974 (because I changed pavillion to pavilion)
but this one is not correct:
way/483419854 (because I changed pavillon to pavilion )

Worldwide I found 48 occurences of pavillion.
Worldwide I found 47 occurences of pavillon.
(And worldwide I found 14491 occurences of pavilion).

I did not change all of the pavillion/pavillon occurences to pavilion because I didn't have the time, as I visit all those (in my opinion typos) one by one to check what I change, and if it has the tag building=pavillon/pavillion I changed it to building=pavilion for reasons I have explained already.

If there should be a valid building=pavilion AND a valid building=pavillon in the wiki (and on OSM), then we are 7 years late.

I shall follow the discussion (started by flohoff) on the forum.

Marc.

I have added a page to the wiki to describe my action.
osm.wiki/Talk:Tag:building%3Dpavilion#Typing_error_with_name

159783643 about 1 year ago

I assumed that people using "pavillon" instead of "pavilion" simply made a typing mistake.
E.g. using "railway_staton" deliberately to describe something different then a "railway_station" is an example of bad practice in my opinion.

And btw. it wasn't an automated mass edit but I visited all occasions one by one to do the change in good faith as I considered it (and still do) a "typo"
If people do want to use "pavillion" and "pavillon" next to (the wiki described) "pavilion", there should be a mechanism preventing them for doing so. Unfortunately there isn't.

What do you mean with that?
You have drawn a line and tagged that with building=hou?

Hi,

About this: way/1205663877

landuse=area is nonsense! Have you ever seen landuse which is NOT an area?
Please read this:
osm.wiki/Map_features#Landuse
landuse=* should describe the type of landuse, not its dimensions.

landuse=area is not correct because landuse always is an area!
What kind of landuse is it? (industrial? residential? etc).

Hi,

All your changesets have just one comment: adatok hozzáadása
But that is what all mappers do!
Can you be more specific?

Hi,

Does that pond really is named "pond"?
Don't use the name=* for descriptions.

Hi,
Does that pond really also has the name "pond"?
Normally natural=water and water=pond is all that is needed.
