Per user feedback: This is not University of Berlin anymore and now a sports facility.

The school closed way is attached to the road, from Mapbox satellite, we can improve the data by removing the overlap between road and amenity=school

It was an "old" data from NHD. Also, a trail/footway was added recently, Strava traces indicate it is cycling/running path. Imagery suggest it is indeed dry land but it maybe a seasonal.
