Here is the old road with a bridge from which a track can be accessed which amongst others comes to the stream flowing through the bridge.
Nice possibilities for an explorer. ;)

Here is a guide post with a sign pointing north saying "Gîte", but walking 500m in that direction didn't show one. Maybe someone else will bother to invest more time...

Entlang des Aischbachs verläuft ein Pfad, der zuletzt über größere Wege nach Alpirsbach führt. Ein GPX-Log vermutlich zweifelhafter Qualität (da tief im baumbestandenen Tal) werde ich in einigen Tagen/Wochen hochladen.

Here is also only a removed signet from the GR65 to find. That means: it isn't on this way anymore. The route red-yellow-var continues.

This route from Varaire is no longer Way of St James and GR65 but only marked with yellow and red-yellow bar.
