Dieses Tag wird in OSM nur dreimal verwendet und sieht für mich wie ein Tippfehler aus. Für mich scheint building=farm_auxiliary passender.
farm_auxiliary sollte mehr mit landuse=farm_auxiliary verwendet werden und den ganzen Bauernhof umfassen.

It looks to me as if this building is used as a hostel again (https://brettonhostel.co.uk/).
So we could remove the building:use=residential and add the website. Maybe we change the note to "This building was build by Youth Hostel Association but is now operated by another operator."
