The minor road heading north (west) here to Eskdale Green is at least as good as the road heading north (east) to Cockley Beck via Seathwaite. In heading from Ulpha to Boot, satnav ignores this minor road and routes via Seathwaite, Cockley Beck and Hardnott Pass, which is a longer and much harder route.

Why isn't the path being rendered here?

How to show striding edge properly? It currently has natural=ridge (which is invisible in Mapnik), and natural=cliff . Is having both desirable? natural=cliff seems to refer to something "nearly vertical" - though the ridge is actually extremely steep going north and south, but not actually vertical - except in some places around those "teeth" structures embedded in the ridge that you have to scramble.

If a cliff is drawn here, where do you set the threshold? Also where the path skirts round obstacles, sometimes it "goes over the cliff" for some definitions of the word "cliff"
