Hi Stuart, thanks for these edits. Just in case you didn't know about it, https://osm.mathmos.net/addresses/pc-stats/RG/RG1/2/ is useful if you wanted to add postcodes. :)

The Undelete plugin in JOSM should work? osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/Undelete relation/75266

@BCNorwich Is there an easy way to delete the larger heath areas? I've deleted a few of the smaller ones based on the fact that they didn't fit the wiki's heath definition and/or they massively overlapped with other natural=/landuse areas. I'd estimate that <10% of the natural=heath areas mapped by Sam888 in Cumbria are actually heaths and therefore should all be deleted.

Hi PalmerJ, thanks for this edit. I realise that maps.me doesn't allow you to add certain features to the map but please avoid adding everything as an attraction. I mapped the tarn as an area and deleted the duplicate well node in changeset/60999508. Can you describe what "stonework" is and I'll try to fix the tagging on that too. Any questions just ask. :)

I've had a look and that road sign really doesn't make any sense - "no buses except buses" - "no coaches except for local buses" would make more sense but that's not what the sign says. Thanks for the corrections and I hope that you enjoyed your holiday. :)

Hi, Thanks for all these edits as always. I doubt that Meml is a locality (node/5758168727), but is probably an abbreviation for memorial?

Hi vorsignal, thanks for these edits. Can you explain why you have added access tags to the roads in Grasmere, eg on way/43617587 ? As far as I'm aware there's no access restrictions on these roads. Thanks :)

Based on local knowledge, Ordnance Survey, Geograph photos and local websites I've fixed this in changeset/60650483. The wiki article is wrong regarding the distance from the inn.

Thanks for these edits. Are you sure that Kirk Stone is at node/5755379221 - it's already mapped at way/513046741 unless it's moved? :)

Hi Matt, thanks for your recent edits. Please try to capitalise the first letter of each word in shop names. Thanks :-)

Hi Nils in Jesmond, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Thanks for your first edit, hope to see more from you soon! I'm a local mapper so feel free to let me know if you have any questions. (In fact I recognise your name from the JRA, unless of course there's another Nils in Jesmond!) :-)

Does this resolve any of the nearby map notes?

Hi tchaik, why are you replacing the addr: tags with contact: tags? Addresses use the address key and contact is mainly for social media - see addr=* and contact=* for more info. :)

To add the other tags (for one direction) you just need to edit the tags on the relation - you won't need to click on every road again. Just zoom into any road section, click edit, click the road, scroll down to and click All Relations Bus Route Malham Tarn Shuttle, then add extra tags. Normally there would also be a route relation for the opposite direction and a route_master relation holding them together (route=bus and osm.wiki/Relation:route) - this is fairly complex though and doing this in iD for such a long route would probably take ages. There are a few bugs in iD at the moment which make editing bus routes complicated, so feel free to leave the route relation as it stands if you like. :) Maybe send Lancaster mapper @John-O a message if you need any help.

That would be because you've also edited the Morecambe Road/Owen Road junction in Lancaster in the same changeset, which is part of a load of other bus relations. You can visualise your changeset here: https://osmcha.mapbox.com/changesets/59401119. Have a look at one of the Lancaster bus route relations to see what other tags you can add to the 881 relation.

It's still a station though isn't it? And what's the difference between station and halt? I thought that the halt tag was more for tourist railways; the wiki isn't very helpful.

Been watching Least Used Stations? :)

Yes, but I probably won't be going that way for a month or so. Thanks :)

Perhaps the Skelwith Bridge node can be moved across the river so that it's actually in the parish, maybe at the south end of the bridge?

58935348 over 7 years ago

Hi, are you sure that Skelwith (node/5615914897) is a separate hamlet from Skelwith Bridge village (node/434301526)? As a local, I suggest deleting the Skelwith hamlet node and making Skelwith Bridge the admin_centre, even though it's on the edge of the boundary.
