Menorca island is flooded now. You replaced place=island to natural=water and it was the cause of this issue.
Edits were resolved but still, you can see this issue in OSM
relation/6076061#map=10/39.9535/3.9083
I just wanted to know if there were unintentional edits. Can you share some information?

natural=water tag is used only for polygons. Seems you added this tag to the river, received a warning message that you made a mistake and pressed the button "connect the ends" for the quick fixes. "connect the ends" command made a huge water-polygon, then it looked like a large land area was flooded with water.
