Are the two sections of Waterside Way going to be joined together? Looks to be some ground clearance and construction in progress in the gap

This pitch due to temporarily relocate slightly to the south west to enable construction of the new bridge.

Workmen were on site yesterday digging a big hole in the ground so presumably imminent

Footway's to the west of this junction supposed to be a shared use foot & cycle path. As of 2025-04-14 there is no such signage.

Possibly being left until the foot/cycle connection from here to Fairham Way is built. Path from here to roundabout supposed to be footpath only.

Final consultation in progress (Summer 2024) that is likely to see this lane barriered to motor vehicles with access restricted to pedestrians and cyclists + farm vehicles only.

Need to keep an eye on this for the installation of gates and access changes.

Cotgrave Greenway closed until further notice due to damaged caused to the embankment at the caravan park in January. "Significant Stabilisation Works" are required before it can reopen. "Permanent" fence added at Northern end in July replacing the temporary fencing that kept vanishing.

Need to check the extent of the closure at the southern end - e.g. were the steps to Stragglethrope Road completed and are they still open?

Conversion of painted cycle lanes to protected cycle path in progress. Phase 1 works between Burgess Road and Cherrywood Gardens due to complete December 2024
