There might be several other Tags like bench,bbq,waste_disposal and so on that might not have opening times. The one in the query were just some that I filtered out in my region.

I don’t think all these mentioned problems can be solved on the UI layer. Of course more warning on editor like iD could improve the situation (of course the difficulty of changing relations already attracted attention, see https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/issues/1461).

But some problems are caused by the design of OpenStreetMap: everyone can register and change all data he/she wants.

Waze is solving this with ranks of users, that are only allowed to edit some things in “their area”. Google is solving this with checking every edit by their “experts”. Another thing that could be done is something like mentors for every new user, that is watching their edits.

Of course the OSM way has a lot of advantages…But it also requires a lot of QA and some “bad” edits will never get notified.

Die Frage dabei ist auch, ob ein “gesättigter Bereich” (also viele Informationen kartografiert) - unabhängig ob importiert oder eigenhändig erfasst - nicht sowieso ab einem gewissen Level von den Aktivität der Mapper stagniert.

Ich würde naiv behaupten Imports stoppen zwar das Interesse kurzfristig aber bieten eine gute Datenbasis, so dass langfristig betrachtet kein Nachteil entsteht!

Wäre eigentlich eine coole Idee für eine neue Art “MapRoulette” nur halt für Geschäfte aus Werbeanzeigen. Das muss dann ja nicht unbedingt die abgetippte Adresse usw sein (das ist ja schon viel Arbeit), sondern vielleicht nur ein Foto von der Anzeige…

Falls wer Lust hat so eine Anwendung mit zu entwerfen, darf sich gerne bei mir melden ;) Wenn Interesse besteht wäre das sicherlich ein Ansporn

“es wäre falsch zwischen highway und landuse platz zu lassen, denn in der realen welt, grenzt nunmal eine fläche […]” Naja meist ist da irgendwas dazwischen - z.B. Gras, Graben, Gebüsch, Bäume, Sand, Betonflächen etc. Dies zu taggen (Stichwort Micromapping) und zu pflegen ist unmöglich und zeigt, dass sich “die Realität” nicht vollständig abbilden lässt.

Wenn dann finde ich Flächen an Flächen grenzend sinnvoll (z.B. Feld grenzt an ein Gebüsch oder ein Parkplatz an ein Gebäude), allerdings - wie immer bei OSM - kocht ja eh jeder sein eigenes Süppchen ;)
