This approach to the bridge was still rough in Sept-2016. While it was open to traffic it looked like work was ongoing to improve it. It also necessitated vehicles coming from the north make a difficult turn from the main road.

I suspect that this approach road may be joined by another coming from the north, and that the area will continue to see changes in the next couple of years as the final touches are put on the new bridge.

If anyone is in the area it'd be worth checking for changes. Thanks!

I added a new major road over the new bridge parallel to this section of residential road, after visiting the area in Sept 2016. I failed to notice if there'd been any changes made to this residential road since the construction of the big new bridge. Perticularly I didn't notice if it just terminates here, or if it connects with the road over the bridge.

Previously it connected with a footbridge that is no longer existent.

The waterways in this area seem to be poorly mapped, and often do not cross the road at the places indicated.
