The only official name in Spanish is Comunitat Valenciana.

Statute of Autonomy of the Valencian Community

Preamble

The Valencian Community emerged as a result of the manifestation of the autonomous will of the people of the Valencian provinces, after the pre-autonomous stage, which was acceded to by virtue of Royal Decree-Law 10/1978, creating the Consell del País Valenciano.

Once the Spanish Constitution was approved, it was within its framework that the Valencian tradition coming from the historic Kingdom of Valencia met the modern conception of the Valencian Country and gave rise to Valencian autonomy, as an integrator of the two currents of opinion that frame everything that is Valencian in a cultural concept of its own within the strict geographical framework that it reaches.

Title I. The Valencian Community
Article 1
1. The Valencian People, historically organized as the Kingdom of Valencia, is constituted as an Autonomous Community, within the unity of the Spanish Nation, as an expression of its distinct identity as a historical nationality and in the exercise of the right to self-government that the Spanish Constitution recognizes to all nationalities, with the name of the Valencian Community.
