FYI, I removed the Raming tea "hamlet" node, because the housing is not a village but a government facility. Hi nitinatsangsit, what source did u use for the Mae Hong Son - Chiang Mai boundary? According to google and WorldStreetmap, a large section seems out of place by a large offset, so wanted to check with you first before improving it. Cheers, Julien

I have only downgraded tertiary a few times when they don't have a ref and looks out of place. Like you have done here: changeset/117586823
Also I have corrected a few major segments where the residential bypass was tagged as the main road.
I have and will continue upgrade many tracks and residential to unclassified, and tertiary when I find a ref.

Ok. It was definitely a mistake from my part. I should have contacted the original mapper first. If I recall, I didn't see any local signs showing there is a 4049 tertiary road here. Do you have any good online source to confirm these refs?

That it would be passable by 4wd ? or motocross ?

Hi Johnny, the tags are conflicting. If the access to the road is restricted due to gates, highway=service may be more appropriate. Otherwise if the road is not suitable to motor vehicles (motor_vehicle=no), it should be tagged as highway=path+motorcycle=yes or highway=footway if only suitable by foot. highway=unclassified is reserved for minor roads frequently used for through traffic or to reach a specific destination (hotel, temple, attraction…)
