Worthy of note, there is now a veterans memorial at this location centered in the park. In the western edge of this park also stands the historical Harwinton direction sign that has been in this green for over 200 years.

There is a small shed for an announcer and some bleachers here that observe the tractor pull track immediately south of this location.

There is a small building bordering the outside edge of this fence that houses the cattle pulls.

This is actually three separate buildings. The most northerly one is a general store that housed the historical society, the middle building has a blacksmith shop in it, and the bottom building has a shingle mill. There's only about 3-5 feet of separation between the buildings.

There's a large boulder in the middle of this field that stands over 7 feet high. To the right of it is an unimproved road/track/path that connects at the curve of the gravel road to the south, and to the north it intersects with the road/track/path that starts on the northwestern edge of the entry gate by Locust Road that goes along the stone wall after the town maintenance property.

A fare booth has been installed on this road at the point indicated. The road the pin rests on that turns towards the northwest until the first junction with the other north-south road between the major buildings has been removed to some extent. The eastern road that parallels the west side of the main event building now travels in a mostly straight and northerly direction to meet the road at the edge of the forest, just to the west of the small shed marked on the map.

There is a gate at this road/track that allows for passage through the fence.
