New signs - permissive path north and south of here, courtesy of Herriard Estates. I don't know how far they go.
I assume they follow the old railway line between Scratchface Lane and the public footpath that leads to the Fur and Feathers.

motor_vehicle=designated is probably not correct based on the access on adjacent service roads. "Designated" is like "yes" but connecting roads have "no": 'A preferred or designated route for the class of traffic specified by the tag key, such as foot=designated, in general this means that there is a (explicit) sign saying something like "pedestrians allowed", or a pedestrian icon.'
