MST28 is currently closed to the public between 5th August 2023 and 5th February 2025.
"The closure is necessary for works to safeguard the health and safety of the public due to the definitive line of MST28 being unsafe for public use due to dangerous uneven ground conditions."

MST28 is also subject to a DMMO where is has been recommended the southernly part (from this map note) is to be extinguished with the northernly part (from this map note) is to be retained see https://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/PROW/ApplicationForm.aspx?RecordFilter=573%2f11%2f212(12) for more information.

Once the DMMO is made to the definitive map, OSM will need to be updated, including updating the class 6 path that is at the most southernly part of MST28 as this will be retained, just not shown on the definitive map.

Modification order for MST30 for extension to Oak Way was determined on 10th December 2024. This way will need to be updated once the official designation is added to the Definitve Map see https://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/PROW/ApplicationForm.aspx?RecordFilter=573%2f11%2f212(4)

Is this footpath actually 'permissive', this would imply it "is one in which the land owner had decided to allow some form of public access". As far as I'm aware no landowner decision on access has been made.
