So what determines if a name in Catalan is real or not? IMO, what is clear is that writing Вруда in a Catalan text would make most of the Catalan speakers doesn't know how to read it, and a wise translator would use the Vruda form. The same applies to name:en. The rules are in osm.wiki/Multilingual_names and the real question is to determine when a name exists in other languages or not. Do you have a proposal for a criterion here?

This kind of improvements in the OSM db allows projects such as https://www.openstreetmap.cat/#map=13/59.4231/29.3045 or using the maps with the user language in apps like OsmAnd.

For the block of my account it was for a suspected automatic edits which were not the case and neither for this changeset. If you try the editor I used (https://github.com/OSM-Catalan/LangToolsOSM), you would see that every edit have to be reviewed and confirmed by the user. I opened an appeal to the DWG (Ticket#2024080610000223) where I provided all the details and I'm waiting for a response.

It does have Catalan name in wikidata https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q14621380. There is even a wikipedia page https://ca.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vruda

Apart from the Vruda case, what do you thing it's wrong here?

Jo prioritzaria wikidata. Wikipedia es pot deixar buit o posar el del municipi encara que no quadri
