When routing, the directions took me the opposite direction on I-70, just to get to I-74. But if you stay on IN-9 for 15 or 20 miles, you will get to I-74 without doubling back. the algorithm needs to be refined to realize that Interstate highways are not always the best route, but the shortest route between 2 points is a straightline, even if speed limits might be slower.
