I always had the name of this locality down as "Hawse End" rather than "Hawes End". But as I'm not local I'd rather not just change it to the spelling in my head.

Could you check this road, there is feedback from the driver, which shows that he could not drive. Maybe there is some kind of obstacle, access ban, gate or something else?

I'm not sure that this path (way way/96336213) is visible on the ground. I couldn't see it yesterday, and the Strava heatmap suggests others can't either.

Once the fences have come down, the area could do with a resurvey.
The Old Mining Building has been renamed as the Bragg building, which will be home to Physics (and Computing I think). A large new building has been built behind the Old Mining building, with a covered bridge into Chemistry West. Some of the mature trees were chopped down and have been replaced by saplings. Also I think the paths/service roads have been reconfigured slightly. The steps into St George's field next to Chemistry West have been removed and replaced with a ramp.
