Notice that the tallest tree recorded is 116m: https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperion_(albero)
this is almost the double of it, if the height is correct you just discovered a world record tree

Hi rakibdc,

with tree=mahogony you meant
genus=Swietenia (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swietenia)
or
species=Swietenia mahagoni (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swietenia_mahagoni)?

Hi NKA,

node/6899674185/history

this Acer platanoides has circumference 7.10, but the world record for this species is 6.72, maybe it was supposed to be 0.71?

Nearby there are at least 5 trees in the water area, are the imported trees coordinates precise in your experience? In such case we could fix the water area to exclude them or move the trees?

thank and good mapping :)

you added 6 trees with height=stump,
would you agree to remove the height and change them to natural=tree_stump?

thanks and good mapping :)

Hi assar, thanks for the edits,

I saw there are 5450 trees with height="3 - 5". The wiki says that height should be a number, not a range. Would you agree in moving this value to est_height=*?

thanks and good mapping :)

Hi Plaintelive, I saw you deleted some trees in Bologna and replaced them with a tree row. Singular trees can be part of a tree row ("This approach can also be combined with individually mapped trees for further details."), in my opinion this should be preferred so no detail is lost, such as the number of trees. Also people could contribute adding the circumference for every single tree ecc.

But this is my opninion, thanks for the edits and good mapping!

Hola Abimelec, gracias por tus ediciones y ¡bienvenido a OSM!

node/11785264999/history

buen mapping :)

Hi Abimelec, thanks for your edits and welcome to OSM!

node/11785264999/history

I noticed this tree, is mapped inside a building, is it correct? Also please notice that the standard unit is meters, so circumference=162 means a circumference of 162 meters. This isn't likely, maybe it should be fixed with circumference=1.62

good mapping :)

>> Should I map them in another way?

Oh, I don't know really. I wasn't just sure that it was a typo or something different. Based on what you said the value just missed a p, shee(p)fold. Thanks for the quick reply and good mapping!
