Park and recreation areas within the former golf course construction area are taken directly from City open data Land Use Polygons, manually "traced" (from GPX converted from KML), conforming to the data without regard for alignment with features visible in Bing image. See comments for individual areas.

This is not really a commercial area, but OSM administration is hung up on how to treat government areas in theocracies, so in consequence the rest (MOST!!) of the world goes without a reasonable designation for any government (city, municipal, county, provincial, state, national, etc. etc.) areas. Suggest I have edited for the renderer and I will bite your face off!
Actual use of such City and Regional Infrastructure areas in Calgary varies - RR tracks & landfills fall in such areas, but so do areas used as parks.
Once the old golf course has been fully redeveloped, use of this area will become apparent.

Of course there is parking in the area. If it isn't named and tagged it is WORSE THAN USELESS because users can't tell if they are permitted to park there or not.
