| 1672954 | This crossing has a post saying the height is 362m, which is definitely less than what OpenTopoMap say (about 380m), and contrary to what OTM indicates this is a saddle, the north-south track crossing it, the east-west track running from a peak whose name I don't know (which seems to be near the point where, according to OTM, the track crosses the 350m-line) to the 향로봉 (hwangnobong) peak. I have no GPS device, so I can only give such a hint. Generally speaking the topographic information in that area is rather poor (at least north of that crossing, where I hiked), anyone with gps device should use it and take notes that help to improve it. |
